Actions After Opening a Trade
After initiating a trade (opening a position) in TonTrader, a trader can perform the following actions:
Monitor the open trade on the price chart
View comprehensive trade details:
The trade direction (Buy/Sell), opening date and price, position size (amount and volume), leverage used, commission (fees), and the current unrealized profit/loss (P&L).
Set, modify, or delete Take Profit (TP) and Stop Loss (SL) orders (more details here)
Increase the trade amount
Increasing the trade amount is executed when there is confirmation of a positive trade forecast, upon reaching key forecast price levels, or as the available capital grows. Additionally, increasing the position size is utilized in "averaging down/up" tactics.
Increase the leverage
Scaling up leverage can be advantageous if the trader observes a significant confirmation of the price trajectory (or trend). While increasing the leverage serves to amplify potential returns (profit potential), it comes at the expense of a proportionally increased exposure to risk.
Reverse the trade direction (Position Flip)
This action immediately closes the current position (Buy or Sell) and simultaneously opens a mirror position in the opposite direction with the same volume. It is utilized by traders upon the emergence of strong reversal signals and/or the breakout of key levels. This feature minimizes slippage between closing the old position and opening the new one, ensuring virtually instantaneous execution.
Close the trade to realize the result.
