Chart and Prices

The chart on the TonTrader platform is one of the main tools used by traders to analyze the price movements of cryptocurrencies. It is a convenient tool that helps analyze the market and make trading decisions.

The chart displays changes in asset prices over a certain period of time and includes various technical indicators and trading volumes.

Chart types:

  1. Linear: is a simple line that connects the closing price points for a certain period.

Convenient for quick analysis
  1. Candlestick: Displays price information in the form of "candlesticks", each of which shows the open, close, high and low for a specified time interval.

The most informative chart
  1. Bars: Uses vertical lines to represent the price range, and horizontal lines show the open and close.

Similar to a candle, but more compact

Basic elements of a chart:

  • Timeframe

Timeframe is the time interval used to display price data on a chart.

It allows to see how the price has changed at different points and can vary from one second to a month, which affects the perception of market trends.

  • Indicators

Indicators are technical analysis tools that use mathematical calculations to analyze historical price and volume data.

You can see the full list of available indicators on TonTrader on the chart in the "Indicators" column.

TonTrader prices

At any time, there are 2 prices on the market:

  • ASK- the price at which you can make a purchase trade (increase)

  • BID - the price at which you can make a sale trade (decrease)

Spread - is the difference between the Bid and Ask prices.

SELL trades are closed at the ASK price, and BUY trades are closed at the BID price.

Please note that the chart on the TonTrader platform is built at the MID price (the average price between the BID and ASK prices).

Conclusion

Efficient use of charts in the trading process requires practice and attention, and price analysis in combination with technical tools can significantly improve trading results.
